The Turn

Watched the Prestige tonight. It was just as good as I remember it. Now that I knew the secret, I could absorb it purely on a level as a tale of obsession. I hadn't felt the weight of Angier's speech at the end. About how magic is about making people believe, if even just for a second, that the world is more than mundane. I think the entirety of his character arc is illuminated at that very moment, whereas Borden's is ever clear and laid out.

A superb movie.
